Ann Abdo Lampasas

Ann Abdo Lampasas was born February 18th 1934 in San Antonio, Texas to Solomon and Mary Joseph Abdo. She is survived by her son, Ciro A. Lampasas & wife Kimberly; her grandchildren, Laurel Ann Lampasas Carroll & husband Aubrey, Ciro A. Lampasas, Jr., Chloe D. Lampasas; sister Marilyn Cecile Giammalva and husband Samuel and brother Solomon Abdo and wife Debbie; her brother-in-law Vincent "Punchie" Lampasas & wife Jean; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family. She met and married the love of her life, Ciro Salvador Lampasas III in 1958 at Annunciation Catholic Church. They then moved to Houston, Texas to put down roots and start her family. Ann has always been a hard worker and always used her gifts to help run family business’, from the early days working in her Daddy’s grocery store up until her health forced a reluctant retirement at Ciro’s Italian Grill at the age of 86. Affectionately known as ‘Mama C’, she was a maternal figure and role model to many she crossed paths with, her boisterous laugh and thoughtful demeanor making her a friend to many. She was known for encompassing what it meant to be a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother & friend. She is best remembered of her love of family, faith in Jesus, Sunday Night Dinner’s where she & her sister kept the generations close together and well fed, her incredible baking, & intentionality with her family. Her strong spirit and love of family kept her fighting until the Lord called her home to reunite with her beloved husband and parents on July 9th, 2026. She was cherished & beloved to all that knew her and will be deeply missed. A special thanks to Tonya Maxwell and her caregiver team that gave us invaluable time with our Mama C. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, July 17th, 2026 at 10:30 AM at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 11720 Joan of Arc Dr., Houston, TX 77024. Ann will be laid to rest at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery following the reception. Pallbearers include Ciro Lampasas Jr., Sam Giammalva, Sam Giammalva Jr., Billy Bishop, Elliott Abdo, Christopher Abdo, Dominic Barzilla, Aubrey Carroll, Tim Kelley. Honorary Pallbearers include Sam Giammalva Sr., Solomon Abdo Sr., Solomon Abdo, Solomon Abdo Jr., Tony Giammalva, Vincent “Punchie” Lampasas, Vincient Lampasas Jr., Rocco Thomas, Noah Radbil & Joe Guillory.
