Beatrice P. Aguilar

Beatrice P. Aguilar entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 13, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert G. Aguilar Sr., her parents, Cipriana and Nazario Palacios, Father and Mother-in-law Manuel and Josephine Aguilar. She was the oldest of 8 children, five of whom have predeceased her. Mary Villareal (Manuel Villareal). Dulie Martinez, Madlyn Carbone, Joe Palacios and Janet Johnson. Survived by sisters Emily Giries and Jilma Palacios. Beatrice and Robert had six children Judy (Jon) Hebert, Robert G. Aguilar Jr., Greg (Ronna) Aguilar, Michael (Carol) Aguilar, Elizabeth (Al) Chmiel and Beatrice Ledbetter. Grandchildren Jarrad (Anahi) Aguilar, Alyssa Rivas (Nick Haycraft), James Ledbetter IV, Crystal (Curtis) Dougherty Great grandchildren Uziel Aguilar, Astacia Garcia, Luna Haycraft and Cash Dougherty. Beatrice is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Beatrice was born in Stockdale, Texas on February 1, 1927 and grew up in Victoria, Texas. She graduated from Patti Welder High School in Victoria, Texas and took some college courses. As a young woman, she worked, learned to cook, sew and take care of a family before marrying Robert and having a family of her own. She and Robert were married on December 31, 1955 and were married for 65 years until his death in 2021. Together with her husband, Beatrice enjoyed a life-long commitment to the Catholic church and raised her family in it. They put their children through Catholic school for many years. She was a gifted seamstress and adept at creating many hand-crafted items. She was an active member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church for many years. She enjoyed attending dances, activities with the Knights of Columbus, church festivals and spending time with family. She will be remembered as a devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt to so many. Throughout the years, she also cared for children in the neighborhood where she lived. She spent a lifetime caring for others. We look forward to the day when we are all reunited in Heaven. Rosary to be held on Friday, December 19, 2025 at 10:15 A.M. with a funeral mass at 10:30 A.M. Services will be held at St. John Vianney Catholic Church located at 625 Nottingham Oaks Trail,
