Bradley Ryan Hays

Bradley was born in Houston on January 23, 1992, and unexpectedly passed away from natural causes on January 25, 2023. Although Bradley lived most of his life in Houston, he spent his first 5 years with his family in Al-Jubail Saudi Arabia where he started school at the Jubail British Academy. Bradley often commented that he could remember pieces of his life in Saudi Arabia and visiting some of the world’s great wonders. Bradley grew up in West Houston and attended Wilchester Elementary, Memorial Middle School, and Stratford High School. Bradley graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2014 where he earned a BBA in Finance from the McCombs School of Business. While attending UT, Bradley was a member of the Kappa Alpha fraternity. Bradley loved his corporate business development job at Civeo North America where he worked since 2020. When asked about his job he would speak with enthusiasm about the various projects he was working on and his ideas on how to create more value for the company. Bradley had a diverse set of interests that included: politics, current events, movies, television documentaries, investing, sports, books, collecting memorabilia, travelling, and dogs. While in high school, Bradley became involved in musical theater and had various roles in a number of Stratford Playhouse productions. He threw his energy into these roles, had a great time, and did a wonderful job. Bradley had a sharp and quick wit and was passionate about what he believed in. Bradley loved to engage and was always willing to share his well-articulated opinions with energy. During the Covid period, Bradley lived at home for a number of months where he had very animated political debates with his mom and dad on a nightly basis. Bradley’s parents learned a lot from him during these discussions and will treasure these memories forever. Bradley was taken from us far too soon and will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Bradley is survived by his parents, Pat and Lori Hays, his brother Matthew, his sister in-law Ashton, his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and many cousins who all loved him very much. Bradley adored his younger brother and was so proud and honored to be the best man at his wedding in 2022. Bradley also had a small group of life-long friends whom he was very close with and cherished. Many of his best friends today are people he has known since elementary school. Bradley was a great listener with a huge heart who cared deeply for the people closest to him. He was a devoted son, brother, and friend and he will be missed forever. A celebration of life gathering will be held at the Dettling Funeral Home in Houston on Friday February 3, 2023, from 5-6 PM.
