Gloria Rose Leidenheimer

Gloria Rose Leidenheimer, a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at home on March 31, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on April 25, 1934, in Chicago, Illinois, Gloria lived a life centered on love, faith, and family. She attended the University of Miami and later spent much of her life in Mississippi, where she worked as an office manager for the hospital, doctors and a home health organization, where she was known for her kindness and compassion. Twenty years ago, she moved to Houston, Texas, where she continued to be surrounded by family and community. Gloria was a loving and devoted mother who took immense pride in her family. She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Zieren, and her husband, Ken Zieren; her son, Lance Klima; her grandchildren, Brett Zieren (Debbie), Blake Zieren (Natalie), Bryan Zieren (Bailey), Jack Klima, and Lily Klima; and her great-granddaughter, Harper Zieren. She was deeply devoted to her family and could often be found on the sidelines, faithfully watching her son, Lance, play soccer throughout high school and college, and later cheering on her grandchildren from the benches at baseball fields. Gloria was a strong and independent woman whose steady presence was a source of comfort to those around her. She also had a special love for her dogs over the years, especially her beloved Prieta, who was devoted to her. A woman of faith, Gloria was a devoted Christian who found comfort and joy in her relationship with God. She enjoyed watching Christian TV programs and reading about her faith, which remained an important part of her life. Gloria appreciated the simple pleasures of life—good food, good company, and time spent with those she loved. She especially enjoyed a delicious lobster and a perfectly cooked steak, often shared with her family. She also had a passion for bridge and cherished the friendships and camaraderie the game brought into her life. Gloria will be remembered for her warmth, strength, faith, and unwavering love for her family. She leaves behind a lifetime of love and memories that will be cherished forever. A private family celebration of life will be held. The family appreciates your love and support and kindly asks that you honor Gloria with your prayers and cherished memories.
