Brian Louis Schmidt, 66, of Missouri City, Texas passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018. Brian was born December 26, 1951 in Hackensack, New Jersey. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Christina Coulakis-Schmidt; children, Dylan Schmidt and Cayden Schmidt; brothers, Kevin Schmidt & wife Cheri, Steven Schmidt; Nieces, Tana and Sienna Schmidt; nephew, Cody Schmidt as well as many extended family and dear friends. Brian grew up in the Franklin Lakes, New Jersey area. In the 1970’s he moved to the Houston area where he remained and raised his family. Brian was a longtime bartender and manager of the Men’s Club in Houston. He enjoyed keeping an excellent lawn and spending his free time with his family. He was loved by those who knew him and will be greatly missed. The Schmidt family will be present to receive friends Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Dettling Funeral Home, 14094 Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77079.
