Donald William Schuster

Donald William Schuster, 81 of Katy, Texas passed away Friday, April 29, 2022. His wife of 26 years, Ruby, was by his side. He was born May 7, 1940 in McKean County, Pennsylvania to Joseph and Rose Schuster. He is survived by his wife Ruby; children, Heather Patricia Schuster and Scott William Schuster; sisters, Margaret Saporito and Patty Damcott as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Don grew up in the McKean County, PA area. He served his country in the United States Air Force before beginning his career in the Insurance industry, working for Transamerica Corporation. He also spent many years in the real estate brokerage business before retiring. Don enjoyed Golfing and Bowling, and had a passion for playing baseball, even being invited to try out for the Yankees back in his youth. A memorial service celebrating Don’s life will be held Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Dettling Funeral Home, 14094 Memorial Drive Houston, TX 77079.
