Our beloved Heriberto “Beto” Arrambide, went to be with the Lord peacefully on July 22, 2020, after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. He was 75 years old. Beto was born on July 2, 1945, in Monterrey, Mexico to parents +Heriberto Arrambide, Sr. and +Gregoria Benavides de Arrambide. Beto is survived by his wife, Carmen Granados Arrambide, and four children, Anthony Estrada (Ana), Mary Theresa Moseley (Mark), JoAnn Tamez, (Oscar), and Elisabet Iparrea (Adrian). He had six siblings, +Elva Arrambide Wittman, Hector Arrambide, +Irma Arrambide Gonzalez, Esteban Arrambide, +David Arrambide and Ruth Arrambide Katz. He also had many sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, a great-grandchild and countless friends. Beto was employed in the hotel industry for ten years. He then went on to volunteer with the Catholic Diocese of Galveston-Houston and eventually transitioned to an employee for ten years. He took great pride in every job he had and always gave 110%. Beto loved being a father and although he only had one biological daughter, he loved his other children as his own. He also treasured his grandchildren. His favorite thing in the whole wide world was to hear his daughter, Elisabet, sing. He was her number one fan. Beto had a servant’s heart and in spite of his illness, he never complained and was always ready to help others. He loved to cook and his most famous dish was his delicious brisket. Everyone loved Beto’s brisket! Beto had an incredible talent decorating for events and could transform a gymnasium into an elegant ballroom. Many friends and family have wonderful memories of him decorating and catering for their weddings, quinceaῆeras and birthday parties. He is now totally healed, walking and dancing on the Heavenly Streets of Gold! “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:7-8 * The Arrambide family will be present to receive friends Friday, July 31, 2020 from 10 AM until 11 AM for visitation.
