William E. “Bill” Tell, 77 years old, of Houston passed away May 13, 2020 from complications from congestive heart failure caused by a stroke. William was born March 13, 1943 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to J. E. and Frances Johnson Tell. He was preceded in death by both of his parents. He is survived by his loving wife Brenda of 27 years. His sister, Carol Guinette Tell of Tyler, Texas. He is also survived by his daughter, Cindy Ann Murphy, of Houston, Texas. His granddaughter, Ashley Hulgen. His son Richard Tell and wife Annette. His grandson Michael Tell. His daughter, Trina Tell French her husband, Lewis French of Katy Texas. Grandsons Thomas Tell and Christopher French of Katy, Texas. His granddaughter Katelyn Mae French of Katy, Texas. Bill grew up in Tyler, Texas. Where graduated from John Tyler High School and then joined the U. S. Air Force. When he returned from service, he graduated from The University of Houston in Houston, Texas where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree. He worked overseas as a computer specialist as well in Houston but in his later years enjoyed the kids on his school bus route for Spring Branch ISD. Bill enjoyed music and was a member of the Chorus in the Air Force, the Houston Tidelanders Barbershop Chorus for ten years, and the Tallowood Baptist Choir. He also enjoyed fishing and puzzles. The Tell family will have a private family burial at the Houston National Cemetery Friday May 22, 2020.
