Harry H. Ford

Harry H. Ford passed away July 19, 2011 in Houston. Harry was born November 15, 1937 in Albany, NY to Harry H. Ford, Sr. and Lottie Kempisty Keukelaar. He is preceded in death by his parents and infant brother Bobby Ford. He is survived by his wife Laureen Ford; Children, Deborah Brady & fiance' Greg Boyd of Houston, Robert H. Ford & wife Lauren of Long Island, NY, Russell K. Ford & wife Kelly of Houston, and Courtney Ford of Clifton Park, NY; grandchildren, Terrance J. Brady of Houston, Samantha and Kelsey Ford of Long Island, NY, Mitchell Ford of Clifton Park, NY and Colin Ford of Houston; as well as sister, Carol Connolly and husband Patrick of Albany, NY. Harry was a graduate of Christian Brothers Academy and attended St. Peters Seminary. After serving in the US Marine Corps he served on the Albany Police Department. He began his career in the Insurance industry and became General Agent for Aetna Life Insurance Company. He created the Harry H. Ford Agency which became Harry H. Ford & Associates in Houston. Harry Served on the board as a member of St. Peter’s Hospital, was a member of GAMA, Big Brothers of Saratoga, NY, Life and Qualifying member of MDRT, Life Member of The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Souvenir Program Committee, member of the Touchdown Club, member of the Notre Dame Alumni Association (subway member), Knights Of Columbus, Past Grand Knight of Council 8024, Former District Deputy of District 85, and Faithful Navigator of Assembly 2243. The Ford family will receive friends, Thursday, July 21, 2011 from 5:30 PM until 8:30 PM at D.M. Dettling Funeral Directors, 14094 Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77079. The Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM by Deacon Louis Horr. The funeral mass will commence Friday, July 22, 2011 at 10:30 am at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 625 Nottingham Oaks Trail with The Reverend R. Troy Gately Celebrant.
